Spartans are 7-1-1 against the spread in their last nine games against the Fighting Irish.

Vegas has set its lines for college football’s week 3 matchups, with OddsShark.com listing the Michigan State Spartans as a 7.5-point underdog at Notre Dame.

The Fighting Irish lost a tough opening contest at Texas before recovering last week with an easy win over Nevada. MSU, of course, beat Furman 28-13 to open the season before taking an extremely early bye week.

Michigan State is 7-1-1 against the spread in its last nine games against Notre Dame, but the home team is 5-1 straight up in the last six meetings between the Fighting Irish and the Spartans, per the OddsShark College Football Database.

Personally, I’d take the Spartans and the points, but what do I know. Kickoff is set for 7:30 Saturday night in South Bend.
