Football season feels closer than ever, as the first three games of the season now have start times and TV information.

The MSU football season will begin on Saturday, September 3rd, in Davis Wade Stadium, as the Bulldogs face the Jaguars of South Alabama. The first game of the MSU football season will kickoff at 11 AM and will be aired on the SEC Network.

The next two games of the season will be played in primetime. On Saturday, September 10th, the Dawgs face the Gamecocks of South Carolina at Davis Wade at 6 PM. That game will be aired on the ESPN family of networks, with either ESPN or ESPN2 picking up the action. On September 17th, MSU travels to Baton Rouge to face the LSU Tigers at 6PM. That game will also be aired by either ESPN or ESPN2.

Although the football season is still on the other side of our hot Mississippi summer, the release of game times and TV information always makes it feel closer.
