If you’ve somehow missed the controversy after the video was released of Jeffery Simmoms engaged in striking a woman on the ground and him posting an apology online, or if you’ve missed how his court case has been granted continuance and should be decided within the next few weeks, you can catch up on all of that here.

Despite everything that has occurred, it looks like Jeffery Simmons will indeed become a student at Mississippi State University.

Steve Robertson of scout.com had posted a tweet with a picture of Jeffery Simmons’ Mississippi State student ID, but the photo and tweet were taken down rather quickly. I was able to get a screenshot of the tweet and the picture, and I cropped it to remove the potential of seeing any of Simmons’ personal information that may have been on it.

I have no clue what the next step is for Mississippi State, Simmons, and Dan Mullen, but I would anticipate more news to be broken soon regarding the matter.
